REVIVAL OF COHOBBLOPOT

A few years ago, Cohobblopot was once the premiere event for the Crop Over season. The night before Grand Kadooment witnessed many patrons assembling at the National Stadium to enjoy a wonderful display of local and regional acts with some of the biggest Caribbean bands in the business creating blissful mayhem. This was one of the rare times when patrons in Barbados could enjoy all the best artistes from throughout the region on one stage.

Over the years however, the numbers have significantly decreased due to the exclusion of these same Caribbean acts (for reasons unknown). This year the National Cultural Foundation has decided to revive Cohobblopot with the inclusion of many well known celebrities and Soca artistes.

This topic is a very "touche" one and will always be open for debate. I however, am a firm believer in CSME....
